Twin Pads connection

How to connect your Twin Pads in 5 steps :

1. Turn on the Switch™ console and select “System Settings” from the menu. 

2. Then select the “Flight Mode” and make sure that “Controller Connection (Bluetooth)” is enabled. If not, activate it on “Yes”.

3. Turn on the console, in the “Home” menu, select “Controllers” and then “Change style/order”.

4. Hold down the “Mode” button on the right or left pad for 4-5 seconds. The 4 LEDs flash quickly intermittently and the controller goes into Bluetooth synchronization mode. 

5. As soon as the two pads appear on the screen, follow the instructions on the console screen.

Your pads are now synchronized and functional on your console.

Procedure

  1. Hold the SR button and the A button of the right-hand controller or hold the SR button and the up button of the directional pad of the left-hand controller until LED 4 (the one closer to the ‘’Mode’’ button) starts blinking.
  2. Use the USB  cable to plug the controller in your computer. The LED will stop blinking and stay on.
  3. Check the ‘’Devices and printers’’ tab on your computer (Control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers). The device will be displayed under the name “PC/PS3/Android Gamepad”.
  4. Open the software update file (BM_firmware_update.exe) and press the Start button.
  5. Wait for the ‘’Download Successful’’ message for an update confirmation.
  6. Unplug the controller.
  7. To pair the controller to the Nintendo Switch, please follow the pairing instructions.

Procedure

  1. Hold the 3D joystick. LED 1 and 3 (refer to the instruction manual) will start blinking for about 3 seconds and turn off.
  2. Use the USB cable (provided with the controllers) to plug the controller in your computer.
  3. Check the ‘’Devices and printers’’ tab on your computer (Control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers). The device will be displayed under the name “BR22”.
  4. Open the Colorful_TP_Firmware_Update folder and run the update file (Switch_1127_fw.exe).
  5. Check for the ‘’Online’’ mark next to the ‘’Device Status’’ to ensure that the controller is detected.
  6. Click on the ‘’OPEN’’ button and go to the Colorful_TP_Firmware_Update folder and select the folder corresponding to the color of your controller.
    • Open the *_Left.jocn file for the left-hand controller or
    • *_Right.jocn for the right-hand controller.
  7. Click on ‘’DOWNLOAD’’ and wait for the ‘’SUCCESS’’ message on the download bar to make sure that the update was successful.
  8. Unplug the controller
  9. To pair the controller to the Nintendo Switch, please follow the pairing instructions.
